1. Controllers

2. Hosting and server logs
Hosting: HOSTINGER INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. Necessary connection data (IP address, time, file, referrer, browser and device) are processed to provide a secure and stable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention follows operational and security needs. Hostinger’s data processing agreement provides safeguards for third-country transfers, including EU standard contractual clauses.
3. Fonts, images and maps
Fonts, house photos, floor plan and maps are served from our own server without connections to Google Fonts or map and image services. We do not operate audience analytics or marketing trackers. The external HolidayCheck widget loads only with your consent (section 9). The Webplanner calendar has not yet been embedded (section 7).
4. Enquiries
We process your name, email, message, any arrival and departure dates, guest count, the small-child option and acknowledgement of this policy. Ländlefee (hallo@laendlefee.com) receives enquiries; transmission is handled technically through Hostinger. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(f) for general enquiries. Enquiries without a subsequent booking are deleted after six months unless legal grounds require longer retention.
5. Booking, stay and payment
Necessary booking data include name, address, contact details, travel dates, number and ages of guests, and payment and invoice data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Payments use a bank or offered payment method; banks and payment providers are independent controllers. Booking and invoice records are retained as required by law, generally seven years.
6. Guest registration and tax
Ländlefee processes legally required guest registration data and transmits them to the municipality or electronic registration system under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Statutory retention periods apply.
7. Booking enquiries with Webplanner
We embed Webplanner for availability, price calculation and non-binding booking enquiries. External content is loaded only after you select “Load booking enquiry” and give consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your IP address and technical connection data are transmitted to Webplanner; the provider may use cookies. Consent is not stored permanently. You can end the integration for the future using “Hide and withdraw consent”; cookies already set can be deleted in your browser. Alternatively, the labelled link opens the enquiry directly on Webplanner. Information entered there is processed by Webplanner and Ländlefee to handle your enquiry, particularly your name, contact, travel and guest details (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). 8. Booking platforms
Bookings through Booking.com, Airbnb or other platforms are subject to their privacy policies. Ländlefee receives the data needed for your stay and processes them as described here.
9. Reviews through HolidayCheck
The reviews section can load a widget from HolidayCheck AG, Bahnweg 8, 8598 Bottighofen, Switzerland. It is activated only when you select “Show reviews” and thereby give consent. Your IP address and technical connection data are transmitted to HolidayCheck, which may set cookies. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Switzerland benefits from an EU Commission adequacy decision. Consent is not stored permanently. “Hide widget and withdraw consent” stops the integration for the future; you can delete any third-party cookies already set in your browser. 10. Guest area
The guest area contains general house information, not booking records, personal guest data or door codes. A shared access code is checked only on the server. The necessary __Host-SHGUEST browser-session cookie uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Access expires after 30 minutes without a page request, after eight hours at the latest, or on logout. To prevent automated code attempts, pseudonymised IP identifiers and failed-attempt timestamps are used for 15 minutes, and a non-personal aggregate counter for one hour; expired entries are removed at the next login check. The access code is not stored in these logs.
11. Cookies and external links
The contact form uses necessary short-lived session identifiers to prevent abuse. We do not set our own marketing or analytics cookies. For the optional HolidayCheck widget and its cookies, see section 9. External links open only when clicked and are governed by the provider’s policies.
12. Retention and recipients
Data are retained only for their purpose, contracts, abuse prevention or legal duties. Recipients receive them only as needed for hosting, technical support, booking, communication, payment or registration. Processing on behalf of a controller is subject to Article 28 GDPR. Data are not shared for advertising.
13. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent for the future. Contact hallo@laendlefee.com. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna. dsb.gv.at
