The Lake Constance Cycle Path links Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Much of the route around the Obersee is relatively flat, so you can choose a distance that suits you. The shore is roughly five minutes by bike from the house in Hard. Continue towards Bregenz and Lindau, or explore the Rhine delta.
