House rules

Updated: September 2026

Welcome to SEEHAUS HARD

These rules supplement the booking agreement and terms, protecting the house and considerate relations with neighbours.

1. Check-in & Check-out

Self check-in from 3 pm; check-out by 10 am. Your door code is sent before arrival once due payments, registration details and agreed documents have been received. An emergency key is available. Different times may be arranged in advance. Leave the house swept clean, close windows and doors, and switch off unused appliances.

2. Occupancy

Only registered and confirmed guests may use the house: a maximum of four people plus one small child in a cot. Other guests require prior approval. Transfer or subletting to third parties is prohibited without express consent.

3. Smoking

No smoking indoors. Smoking outside is permitted; fully extinguish and dispose of cigarette ends properly.

4. Pets

Pets are not allowed.

5. Quiet hours and neighbours

Quiet hours: 10 pm–7 am. Please be considerate. Parties, loud events and commercial use are prohibited.

6. Garden and terrace

For guests’ private use. Care for the furniture; in strong winds or storms, secure loose items and cushions or bring them indoors where possible.

7. Kitchen

Leave dishes and kitchen appliances clean. Dispose of leftover food or leave it neatly together. Where possible, usable food is passed on for charitable purposes.

8. Bathroom and ventilation

Ventilate after showering and cooking. Do not leave windows tilted open continuously during heating periods. Keep wet textiles off delicate furniture and floors.

9. Waste

Sort and dispose of waste according to local instructions. Do not flush hygiene products, wipes, food or unsuitable items down toilets or drains.

10. Parking

Use designated spaces only. Keep access routes and neighbours’ property clear.

11. Access and codes

Keep codes and keys confidential; do not share with unauthorised people. Report loss or suspected misuse immediately. Necessary actual replacement or security costs may be charged where culpably caused.

12. Damage and defects

Treat the house, furnishings, garden, terrace and inventory with care. Report damage or defects as soon as possible. Statutory rules apply to culpably caused damage. Lost keys or access devices may result in actual, necessary and reasonable replacement or security costs. Normal wear is not compensable damage.

13. Safety

Keep escape routes clear. Do not cover, remove or disable smoke alarms or safety devices. Supervise children, especially in the garden, near doors and windows and around kitchen appliances.

14. WLAN / Wi-Fi

Use lawfully. A specific speed or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

15. Exceptional cleaning

Normal final cleaning follows the booking agreement. Unusual soiling beyond normal accommodation use may result in actual, necessary and reasonable additional costs.
